In 2013, we made the decision as a family to accept God's invitation to work for Him and not money. We gave up everything in faith that God would balance the various aspects of our lives. Things did not work out how we thought--much like Joseph didn't expect his visions to come to fruition through the process that they did. But as we went along, God opened unbelievable opportunities for us. He's built bridges and formed relationships that we couldn't have.
So, after spending several months in Guyana and going through a very difficult experience, the Lord is sending us back into the Guyana interior to develop a project that will meet the crucial medical needs of those living in these remote areas. This project is Marpe Kanaph. The phrase is Hebrew and can be translated into English as "Healing Wings". It is taken from Malachi 4:2, which says, "But unto you that fear My name shall the Shemesh Tzedakah (sun of righteousness) arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall." OJB
